Finishing the Marji Gesick 100 has been a six year, off and on journey for Diablo Cycling's John Bessey. Three bike failure induced DNF's, getting married and 2020, all legitimately delayed his goal. This year Adam brought along his oldest son, to offer him a glimpse of grit and fortitude. For Steve Scherck, it was an experiment in how far you can push yourself while riding sick. He made it well past Jackson Mike Park bag drop, where he finally succumbed to his illness. Jeff's Saturday morning shift started at 4:30 and concluded Sunday morning about 2:00 am.
