Monday, January 18, 2021:
 This "race" was different. After experiencing the insanity of the last two years of mass start racing, Jeff Abitz welcomed the opportunity to just ride. Ride in the woods, take in the scenery, and witness the joy and appreciation of Adam Koenig as he discovered the best snow bike trails on the planet. 
Diablo Cycling's Jeff Abitz and Adam Koenig took on the "30" (actually about 37) miles of the Polar Roll Long course thepolarroll.com/2021-polar-roll-ex/ consisting of a lap around Presque Isle, the North Trails and the South Trails.
There was no finish line pageantry, just a cold Barbaric YAWP Burly Scotch Ale from local brewery Blackrocks, and lots of post ride banter in the parking lot.   

Saturday, January 16, 2021: 
​A couple days ​earlier, Diablo John Bessey (below) also completed the Long course.
