![]() 2.4 Mile Lake Swim - 112 Mile Hilly Road Ride - 26.2 Mile Rolling Run Scot Rajsich completes his 5th Ironman Triathlon! In Scot's words: "Goal # Accomplished.... become a 5X Ironman Swim: Great PR = 1:11 for 2.4 miles Bike: Okay, averaged around 15 or 16 mph... course was longer at 113.5 Miles and almost 6K feet of climb. * Flat on Course - some roads really suck. * Crash or "topple over" on 1st loop - Midtown steep portion - Looked back at someone who said "Scot way to go". Then looked up and a person walked in front of my bike. Toppled over and hit Quad / Groin on my bike. Then my body totally seized up...even my thumbs. I rode another 70 miles in that condition and could not get enough nutrition to stop it. Run: Ran probably 3 miles total and walked the rest. I could not run due to pain in my legs, groin and butt. I did accomplish the 140.6+ miles in 16:28. If you cant be 1st be around last. This finish was a long way from my 2015 sub 12 hour finish. Saturday, September 4th & 5th, 2021 Park Falls, WI www.wi-sport.com/events.html (click for results link) Diablo Cycling's Jon Lester returns to his familiar race, and put himself on the podium again, and again. Road Race (50 total entrants) 35 miles of beautiful rolling hills along the Flambeau River west of Park Falls.
