DIABLO RACE REPORT FOR AUGUST 5TH AND 6TH

gRAND VIEW FIREHOUSE 50 - INDIVIDUAL TIME TRIAL

Last year Jeff Abitz ran across the same finish line with a flat rear tyre.
This year he returned for another go at the 50 Mile Individual Time Trial.
With about 20 miles to go he noticed his front tyre steadily losing air,
but nursed it onward, only to push his luck in the last corner.
I'll spare you the bloody details. Let's just say running across the finish line of this event may be becoming his "trademark" move. 
Still, not a bad result.

5th out of 55 overall
