With the growing popularity of gravel racing, and the support (parts and setup advice) from Recyclist Bicycle Co. in Kaukauna, WI, Jeff "Why can't he pick a disipline" Abitz was compelled to give it a try. Here is his 2017 results thus far: Barry-Roubaix Killer Gravel Road Race in Hastings, MI on March 25, 2017 http://barry-roubaix.com/ 62 gravel road race Conditions: 38 degrees F and nonstop rain 17th out 78 in M40-50 The Bear 100 in Laona, WI on May 20, 2017 http://thebear100.com/ 104 mile gravel race (Well, not advertised as a race but a prize and trophy was given to 1st overall). 1st place overall And the "BIG DEAL" race... Dirty Kanza 200 in Emporia, KS on June 3, 2017 http://dirtykanza.com/ 207 mile gravel race Goal #1: Finish with four person group. Stretch Goal: "Beat the Sun (finish before sundown)".
