In the five years of it's existance the Marji Gesick has become legendary. The race gets significantly longer and more difficult each year. It is the only race, in the National Endurance Mountain Bike Series, that fills the (mens) registration in a few hours, 11 months in advance. For the majority of riders the challenge is to finish. To not give up. To avoid the shame of texting #QUITTER and having the red dot by their name on the riders tracking board. After last year's trip over the handlebars ended Andy Webb's race in the last 15 miles, he vowed to come back and finish his business. With two 100* mile finishes behind him, Jeff Abitz choose to up the challenge in this year's inaugural 200* mile Out and Back. Eddie Kolka decided to ride a singlespeed...in those hills. I'll leave it at that. The Lester family raced the Mini Marji (my plan for next year? - Jabitz) Gabe Rogaczewski had an amazing result!
