Muskego Park Criterium 2018 Race Results

The end of April in Wisconsin still calls for minimal amounts of skin to be exposed during riding and racing. Maybe that favors the Diablo Cycling riders, as their recent showing at the Muskego Park Criterium was incredibly successful.

Then again, maybe it was the course that fit their strengths. Here's what every rider needed to conquer:

The 1.2 mile course featured 100 feet of climbing per lap, including an uphill finish. That's an exceptionally deviant set up considering there was a brisk northerly wind and temperatures barely above freezing when races began.

With that being said, it makes the Diablo's results at the Muskego Park Criterium all the more impressive:

• Jeff Abitz - 7th
  
  That's right, Jeff Abitz raced a crit for the first time in years. Given that he was only a week removed from suffering at Dairy Roubaix, this is a more than respectable result.

  A flat tire sparred countless other riders from massive amounts of suffering.

  Jon's result doesn't tell the full story of his race. He shut down a key breakaway and helped his teammates to better results.
