It was a banner day for Diablo Cycling at this year's edition of Race the Lake. Everyone walked away with their skin intact (for the most part, but definitely better than last year) and some even walked away with podiums and sweet, sweet cash prizes. Here's how the racers in Wave 1 fared:
Those results were powered by awesome teamwork, as the Diablos were the best represented team! For a recap of the race, Check out Brian's recap video and subscribe to his YouTube channel: Of course, many other Diablo's participated in the event, which Brian describes as an "88 mile individual time trial." The full results can be found here, but one other rider who did not "race" stands out, and he is none other than the mythical Jabitz. As training for the upcoming Marji Gesick 200, he did Race the Lake on his fat bike and won the category! An amazing day all around and a special shout out to The Recyclist Bicycle Company and our other sponsors for helping with rider support and bottle exchanges.
