See highlighted yellow were a slow speed tip over moved my shift controller enough, preventing downshifting (lever was bumping the brake lever). Like the hot, tired, dehydrated fool I was, I thought somehow my derailleur Bluetooth "disconnected". After minutes of finally finding the reset procedure on the WWW, my attempt to restore shifting was unsuccessful. So I single speeded (highest gear) a few minutes, which was almost impossible, when DUH! All I need to to do was rotate the shifter! Shifting restored, I rode as fast as I could but it wasn't enough. Lesson learned: When faced with peril, think calmly and rationally. I usually do but that day I did not. - Jabitz
