The Bear 100 - Gravel Race
Now that was a good and proper gravel race. A couple hundred adventurous souls descended upon the small town of Laona WI (pop. 524) to ride the varied unpaved paths and roads of the Nicolet National Forest. Riders could choose 31, 71 or 102 mile distances in this sold out event.
For many, the primary mission was to take in the beauty of the Northwoods backroads with friends, but for the Diablos, it was to compete!
